Talk Like a Pirate with Flair

To honor “International Talk Like a Pirate” Day, I created a simple image for the Facebook app “Pieces of Flair.”  How fun!  It was a great reminder to all who know me, and it was a great reminder or introduction to this fun “holiday” for other people as well.  At the time of writing this blog, there are 41,000+ users of this fun flair I made.

Other than making a Piece of Flair, I did go around talking like a pirate today.  It is actually easy to add pirate talk to every day conversation.  Saying “Arrr!” every few words or so will do it.  I even had a guy down the hall saying “ahoy!” every time he walked past our office.

Of course, I told all of my friends that on this day, they could talk about their “booty” all they want.  :)
